We are looking for a qualified Customer Service Executive to join our company. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales.

As a Customer Service Executive, you should work closely with the internal team to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries promptly, and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

Eventually, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Responsibility

  • Coordinate and co-lead the *NPI/NCI launch with other functional teams with the structured NPI format. (*New Product Introduction / New Customer Introduction.)
  • Liaise with planning, production, engineering, materials, and QA Departments in the first article sample run and subsequent mass production launch by keeping track of the planned timeline
  • Attend to ad-hoc requests by customers in sample preparation with its necessary information.
  • Work with production on the actual output, cycle time, and attrition vs the assumptions made in the costing for new projects
  • Provide support on day-to-day miscellaneous customers’ enquiries
  • Acknowledge all customers’ POs and work with the planner on the delivery dates
  • Input the latest selling price into the customer 3 months’ forecast for potential sales analysis and customer pull-in trend in the next 3 months
  • Compare and analyze customer actual pull in quantity vs customer forecast to study the variance and accuracy
  • Work with the planner to study the inventory level vs customer forecast for JIT pull-in customers to prevent over-build/under-build stocks
  • Assist the customer service team in the information data bank which is ready and available to support the customers
  • Assist in filling up various types of forms (Tooling Request Form, Approval Form for a new project, Inspection Request Form, First Article Sample Testing Form, etc..)

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Customer Service Executive
  • Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel & Word in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • At least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
